Visas & Passports
Tourist visas must be obtained online before travel. Your passport needs at least 6 months' validity from your arrival date.

Entrance Tickets
All sightseeing tickets in Egypt are paid by card only, and aren't included in your tour price. We're happy to advise.

Climate
Egypt is genuinely hot. Our tours run October to April, when temperatures are far more comfortable for most travellers.

Tipping
Tipping is customary and expected in Egypt. On Nile cruises, it's usually done at the end, in cash, via a shared envelope.
