Egypt in Pictures & Celestial Charms

— The Overview

Built for people who want to stop, set up, and compose.

Both of our specialist tours are led by guides experienced in working with photographers, insider timings to avoid crowds, patient pacing, and the flexibility to wait for the right light rather than moving on for the sake of it.

Whichever tour you choose, please note that drone photography is currently restricted in Egypt, so we ask guests to leave drones at home. Beyond that, bring whatever equipment you're comfortable carrying, vehicle storage is limited, so we recommend travelling light.

Egypt in Pictures

A full photography journey

Our classic route reimagined for photographers, sunrise at the Pyramids before the crowds arrive, golden-hour skylines over Cairo, and the textures of markets, temples, and the Nile, all timed around the best light.

  • Sunrise & sunset shoots built into every day

  • Optional desert camping & dahabiya upgrade

  • Additional-needs adaptations available

Celestial Charms

Lunar & solar photography, based in Luxor

No internal flights, just eight calm, stable days based in Luxor, home to some of the clearest skies in Egypt. Sunrise at Hatshepsut's temple, Karnak's solar-aligned halls, night-sky sessions, and, for the right dates, the 2027 total solar eclipse.

  • Night-sky & moon photography sessions

  • Temples aligned to the sun, minimal light pollution

  • 2027 total solar eclipse options available

Not sure which suits you? Egypt in Pictures covers the classic route end to end; Celestial Charms stays entirely in Luxor for a slower, sky-focused week. Guests chasing the 2027 eclipse should start with Celestial Charms.
